DECALS

Below You will find windshield decals for our league. We do recommend to apply it for league specific races.

Also, available for download the SpeedRusher font and high resolution file including the League logo.

iNASCAR.eu LOGO

Cup Series LOGO

Trophy Series LOGO

When You download and apply the layer on top of Your regular livery, You can set Trading Paints to use it exclusively for races within a certain league when You scroll down the main window towards option of using specific skin for league/series or team events.

If You have a problem with making Your livery with the decal, don’t hesitate to ask for help and assistance on Discord

1. Updating the livery

To use a decal layer of iNASCAR.eu You just need to add it on top of Your current livery and upload it via Trading Paints app.

If You just use livery found on Trading Paint, and are not familiar with the painting system and mechanics, follow this tutorial:

1) Identify Your driver ID

Go to iRacing client, and press on the helmet in upper right corner. Select “Account” from the menu (green arrow). There You will find Your personal Customer ID. Remember that number

2) Find Your Livery

Now You need to find the livery You are using. It will be named exactly like Your Customer ID. In my case it will be:

  • car_749480.tga
  • car_spec_749480.mip

Spec file is optional. It is not mandatory, so if You are not seeing it, don’t worry. If You do, please save both files. Paints are usually found in Your documents folder, in iRacing folders:

stockcars2camaro2019
stockcars2mustang2019
stockcars2toyotacamry2022

Sama logic applies for trucks.

3) Add branding layer on top

Open the livery You found (the .tga file) with either Gimp or  Photoshop. Open at the same time downloaded decals from the website (.psd file for Photoshop, xcf. for GIMP). Copy/import the decal layer to Your original paint

  • Photoshop – right click on the layer and use “duplicate layer” choosing the other opened document (car_XXXXXX.tga) as destination
  • GIMP – select all elements on decal layers. Copy the elements (CTRL+C) Switch to current paint window and use CTRL+ALT+V to paste it in exactly same position

Make sure the layer with decals is placed at the very top of actual paint area (in Photoshop these layers are marked blue).

If You see properly displaying decals, save Your new paint as e.g. car_XXXXXX_inascar.tga or anything else, to clearly differentiate the new paint from old.

In Photoshop press ALT+CTRL+S, and change the file type on the dropdown list to “Targa (*.TGA;*VDA;*ICB;*VST)”

In GIMP use SHIFT+CTRL+E to export as .tga file. You will need to manually type “.tga” extension at the end – e.g car_749480.tga

Use 24 bits and RLE compression.

4) Upload Your updated layer to Trading Paints

If You want to use the iNASCAR logos everywhere, just upload it as a main paint. Go to “My Paints”, find a proper car, and use “Choose new paint” option.

Select the new paint, and confirm.

REMEMBER: Choosing new paint resets the spec map, so if You had a .mip file, You will need to re-upload it.

If You want to use the league decals on Your car only during iNASCAR races, You need to scroll down to section for League Specific Paints:

Here You can upload paints ONLY to be used during driving specific league/series.

Remember to re-upload spec map as well if You had one.

Now, You are good to go!
